I had to find this a little amusing, since python *is* my father's
scripting language, as well as his prototyping and server development
language, after I turned him on to it.  He discovered many of his
database interface applications experienced a 5/1 code-compression
vs. their java counterparts, and that Php/JSP/Zope actually added
"negative value" in terms of code length / bug density of his web apps
compared to pure Python.
