??? You mean Guido was almost on the list?
or
Guido's getting hired by Microsoft?
or
E is almost C, so DC ~= DE, so DC ~=MS, so Python is doomed because ~MS is
getting Guido, who will obviously be given a DE, and does that mean that all
of Germany is now a protectorate of MS?
Don't quite catch your point, maybe too pointed? Point the way...
Mike

Also honoured are Lou Perazzoli (NT design),
Peter Spiro (SQL Server), Anders Hejlsberg
(Visual J++, C#), Mohsen Al-Ghosein
(middleware), Suryanarayanan Raman (apps
and Internet), Brad Lovering (tools), Antoine
Leblond (Office - and the man most culpable
for letting the Power Pup slip through -
thanks, Antoine), Michael Toutonghi (.NET)
and software Veep Darryl Rubin.
Borland and Delphi took it way hard when they lost Anders to the Borg.
They've never really recovered, IMHO.
You guys are within a heartbeat of losing Python.
