tkinter cursor question

On windows use the 'no' cursor to eliminate the
cursor (I can't test it right now, so I am not
sure that this works).

For cross platform, the best you can do is define
the cursor to use an image (a xbm) which you could
configure to be a 1x1 dot (preferabbly the same
color as your background) which would almost make
it disappear.
