Arild,

The Tkinter-2.0-8.0.1 rpm was indeed built against Tcl/Tk 8.0, which
is what shipped with RedHat 6.2.  The RPM will probably not work with
RH 7.0.

For the 2.0 release candidate 1, which will be released later today,
we will release that distutils package used to build the binary RPM.
You should be able to use this on a RH 7.0 system to build against
Tcl/Tk 8.3.

As soon as we get a RH 7.0 install at PythonLabs, we will also produce
RPMs for it.
