Ah, I'm using Oracle 8.1.5 on Sun Solaris.

Ah, I downloaded what I think was the most recent version
of jpython and determined that it is version 1.1

But in the DCOracle src directory Makefiles for
python 1.4 and 1.5.

I tried an install using the 1.4 Makefile but make balks saying :

make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target
 `/home/emmmcl01/jpython/JPython-1.1/lib/python1.1/config/Makefile'
