There's a most useful list at
<http://www.ecst.csuchico.edu/~atman/spam/adblock.shtml> that I've merged
into my hosts file. It doesn't get everything ,of course, but it's certainly
cut down on the number of ads that I see. The only problem so far is that
there are many sites where having done this breaks my 'back' button (The
Washington Post web site is the worst)
