config.h and C++

Hi,

I have configured and built Python 1.6 and 2.0 on Solaris 7 with the
Sun C compiler.

Now I see the following piece of code in config.h:

/* Define as __inline if that's what the C compiler calls it.  */
#define inline

Why is this defined? It breaks havoc when writing C++ programs.
