New to Progamming

Hi Josen,
I would suggest the same path I took:
Start with Alan Gauld's tutorial at http://www.crosswinds.net/~agauld/ 
Then the tutorial that Guido provides in the documentation.
Then get a book such as _Learning Python_.
Keep reading this newsgroup.  You will find it very helpful.
