mmap - how to use ?

I have the same question. I tried to use mmap on Win32
and on UNIX but all to fail.
When I try mmap(file.fileno(), <size>), it gives strange
WindowsError: (87, ''). Incomprehensible.... as usual with
other Windows messages.
