The David Beasly book, _Python Essential Reference_, is really good if
you're already fairly fluent in other languages. The library is covered in
detail without a bunch of BS. It's very complete, but as the title says,
it's a reference book, and so it is laid out more like a dictionary. Can't
say enough about how helpful this book has been to me, anyway.
