In theory, but software is always late and free software is no
exception to that rule.  Given that there hasn't even been a beta yet,
and there are serious things such as a new version of SRE to be
dropped into place, to aim for a 1.6 final for June 1 is completely
impossible.  I'd expect the usual 3 beta versions to shake out all the
minor issues that usually pop up.
