	Maybe you'd like an XDS Sigma-6? Only 16 registers as I recall,
and used four at a time for packed-decimal arithmetic (only the COBOL
used that mode by choice).

	However, it did have over 200 hardware interrupt vectors, each
with condition code register and program counter storage <G> (You've got
150 terminals connected, and EACH has an interrupt vector!?)
