On Linux, you could use the combination of Glade (http://glade.pn.org/)
and glc.py (http://glc.sourceforge.net/) or libglade (sorry, can't
remember where to find this) to generate user interfaces for GTK+/pygtk
(ftp://ftp.daa.com.au/pub/james/python/).
