xml schema viewer

hi,
has anyone written an XML schema viewer in python?
we are looking at using XML and want to skip the DTDs
entirely, jumping directly to using schemas.

i'm creating the schema by hand, but would like a way
to view using something like the XML notepad that MS
provides. nothing seems to be out there.

anyone coded such a beast or use anything like it?
