Hi,

I`ve tried java, perl and python, not C/C++, but so far Python is by far
the easiest language to learn. At least you could use it to get a
fundamental understanding of general programming and object-oriented
programming in particular, then move to some other language, or combine
everything to get the best of all worlds.
