Extending 1.6 vs 1.52 - how runny is it?

Hola,

i wrote a python extension .dll which is proving to be rather popular
(understatement really). I hear that 1.6 changes the extension rules,
but i can't find the documentation about this on the web site. Anyone
know where i can get the details? Can the two interfaces co-exist in
my .dll (i hope so) and if so, do i need to get the currently active
Python version to resolve the interface spec and if so, how?
