Date and Time

I'm using Python and COM. One of my 3rd party COM objects returns a Date
time thing like this:

<PyTime:"11/09/99 11:53:23 AM">

I'd like to create a Python class that returns the Date/Time like this.
How would I best mimick this? Also what is PyTime? Is it related to the
Python/COM interface?

Any help greatly appreciated.
