Jim, Corel Linux is basically Debian (http://www.Debian.org/) give or take about
seven packages. You can get the Python package from

ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/Debian2.1r4/main/binary-i386/interpreters/python-base_1.5.1-7.deb

or

ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/interpreters/python-base_1.5.2-6.deb

if you want a more up to date Python.

If you use the Corel update tool, chances are it's on Corel's site somewhere.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Jules
