Does Monty Python know?

I was just wondering whether anyone has ever formally or informally
told the former members of the Monty Python troupe that a popular
computer programming language has been named in their honour.  Does
anyone have any anecdotes in this regard?  Will John Cleese be speaking
at the next Python Convention?
