PIL Installation Woes

I've been following the recent discussion of PIL installation problems,
but I am still getting 'unable to load imaging C library' errors. I
tried unzipping the installation right into the python directory, and
then moving the .dll file to almost any place I could think of, with
no success.

Realizing that it is a free library, I would still suggest that a few
lines of installation instructions for the Win32 distribution would
help greatly.
