XML-RPC

In the page http://www.pythonware.com/products/xmlrpc/, there is a
mention that 0.99 of xml-rpc would have been out by dec.99, and I would
like to know if anyone has any info as to where to find that thing?

BTW, is there any info online, anywhere, that can link me to more info
regarding xml, the standard, the tutorial, and such?
