Tkinter text widget dump method ?

Dear All,

In versions Python v 1.5.2 and > and Tkinter v 1.129 and >, there are no
implementations of the Tkinter.Text widget dump methods.  I checked out
the Tkinter docs and it mentions something about the dump method being
implemented.  Is anyone aware of a resolution?  I was confused by the
pythonware documentation.  The dump method would be useful when
outputting formatted text in a 'memorable' way.
