identifying user from Win9x?

I don't know anything about Novell, but MS Windows doesn't have a
concept of users.  Everyone is "root" (so to speak).  Win9[58] have
"users" in the sense of having a different Desktop and Start Menu, but
that is all they do.  If you are using NT it is a different story.  NT
actually does have different users with varying permissions.  I don't
know how to extract the username, but it does exist to be extracted.
