Which is why there's now a soundex.py.  I don't believe anyone expected it
to wind up in the standard distribution (I certainly didn't).

I think there's a PEP that discusses deprecating/deleting content from the
distribution.  Deleting soundex.c should follow those guidelines in my
opinion.
