need a script to set IP-Adress an machine name

i'm looking for a script (or parts) to set up an nt-client nic-parameters.

it mus call for ip-adress and name, and set the network-parameter automatic
after re-image.
also it must set commandline-parameter and copy four files.
later i will call for the mac-adress and call the parameters from a database
(access or d-base)

does anybody know how to do this? i'm an absolute beginner for programming.
