No, what I mean is, I am not working on it anymore. Since some people 
still use DOS and want a Python for it, I decided to let Python-DX 
sit there, and I will keep it available in the future (although maybe 
not on the same page).

Hey now... No need to use an inferior version... ;-) ;-)

Seriously, there's no reason why you shouldn't use Python-DX... 
Unless you don't like Unix-ish behavior; it's much closer to Unix 
Pythons than Python for Windows is.
