Just to get started, you could try the Python-one-file interpreter
cgipython which is available via my Python Pages (look for mxCGIPython).

There are (compiled) two versions available:

	cgipython-1.5.2-HP-UX-A.09.03-9000_715-unknown.gz
	cgipython-1.5.2-HP-UX-B.10.20-9000_782-unknown.gz
