"Decompyle" attempts to reconstruct Python source from the bytecode in a code object. The latest version (pre-alpha-1) is available at http://csr.uvic.ca/~aycock/python It's very fragile and is definitely far from being complete. I'm releasing it for demonstration and amusement purposes :-) John
