Availability of the popen2 module / documentation bug

http://www.python.org/doc/lib/module-popen2.html claims that the popen2 module
is available on Unix and Windows. However, 1.5.2's popen2.popen2 doesn't work on
Windows (yet?).

There has been some discussion in the "Faking bi-directional pipes under
Windows?" thread last december, but qpparently no consensus was reached.

BTW, does anyone know how to refer to Deja(news) articles properly? I wanted to
point to the above thread, but the URLs of search results are too long to fit
into a single line.
