The program fails with a core dump on an SGI when the first BMP is loaded. But the wxGTK C++ image example and the wxPython BMP code work. A quick hack of changing all of the BMPs to GIFs has the program kind-of working. Fewer core dumps, but none of the icons are being shown. -- Jody Winston
