No, *really* charitably, this was a comparison between Python and Perl
from the perspective of (well known) Perl hacker Tom Christiansen. Obviously
his perspective is going to be biased towards Perl. But it was an interesting
comparison.

I must have a special knack of reading Usenet posts though, as quite a few
people here seem to agree with your evaluations of his postings. Didn't ya
know you should read postings through the most absolutely rosy glasses
imaginable? :)
