Traceback with "No such object" although there is indeed such an object (works with "ldapsearch")

Sorry, forgot to mention some facts:

python-ldap version:
>>> ldap.VERSION
2

Python Version: Python 2.3.4 [GCC 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3)]

$ ldapsearch -VV

Maybe these things are important.
