Also, a good practice is to submit events at least a couple of weeks before the event takes place for two reasons:
1. The earlier it gets to python.org/events <http://python.org/events>, the better are chances that more people notice you event.
2. Sometimes there’s just nobody from the Calendar Team available to add your event in time.
