PS:
Sorry for all the canceling messages. I added the monthly recurrence
after I saved the date. This does not play well with the time zone
as it takes my time zone for the repetition of the date instead of
the time zone of the date. In effect, this moves the repeated date to
the next day. Eventually, I deleted the date and created it anew setting
the recurrence in the first place and it seems it works. This is either
a bug or I missed some setting somewhere. At least the UI is
counterintuitive to me.
