Unless I've missing something, I'm already passing it to gcc.

All of the other versions build without a problem: Python 2.5-2.7 and 
Python 3.1-3.4, both 32-bit and 64-bit, and now Python 3.5 64-bit.

That's 15 building and 1 failing!
