Lol, funny.  It takes energy to display a phosphor, but none for black.  So
I don't know how it could be harder for the eyes.  Plus, it's "hacker
nostalgia" for me, going back to assembler and BASIC on an Apple II.  But I
think this thread discussion happened decades ago.
