Your example here:
    for number, is_prime in zip(PRIMES, executor.map(is_prime, PRIMES)):
        print('%d is prime: %s' % (number, is_prime))

Overwrites the 'is_prime' function with the return value of the
function. Probably better to use a different variable name.
