[Python-Dev] Adding start to enumerate()

I believe the following is a common use-case for enumerate()
(at least, I've used it quite some times):

for lineno, line in enumerate(fileobject):
     ...

For this, it would be nice to have a start parameter for enumerate().
The changes are minimal -- okay for 2.6?

Thus spake the Lord: Thou shalt indent with four spaces. No more, no less.
Four shall be the number of spaces thou shalt indent, and the number of thy
indenting shall be four. Eight shalt thou not indent, nor either indent thou
two, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Tabs are right out.
