In this example there are many assignaments, so there aren't many advantages.

But this

    t = ScrolledText.ScrolledText(master, width=60, height=37)
    t.insert(Tkinter.END, self.log.getText())
    t.configure(state=Tkinter.DISABLED)
    t.see(Tkinter.END)
    t.pack(fill=Tkinter.BOTH)

can look like:

  on Tkinter:
    on ScrolledText.ScrolledText(master, width=60, height=37):
      insert(END, self.log.getText())
      configure(state=DISABLED)
      see(END)
      pack(fill=BOTH)
