[Python-Dev] Python Library Reference top page too long

Perhaps the lib page could have a portal-like index like the one Edward 
Jones suggested at the top, followed the full list w/ descriptions? 
That way, it would be easier to pick out a module with a fairly quick 
glance, but searching the page would still work.
