Ok. Can anyone suggest an unobtrusive way to set docstrings on slots?

Perhaps this (but how could it be implemented?):

     class Foo(object):
         __slots__ = docslots(
             ('slot1': 'description'),
             ('slot2':
                 """description
                 ...continued
                 """),
             'slot3',
         )
