Almost certainly not.  It might make it into 2.3rc1, though I'm not sure of
the status of the head branch of the CVS tree (TimP?  Jeremy?  Fred?).  I
checked in the obvious fix for the 2.2 maintenance branch, though I'm told
the chances of a 2.2.4 release are slim.
