I don't see the XML SIG overriding/convincing Guido on that issue, so it
wasn't really the issue I was asking about. I need to know what sorts of
packages Python's maintainers are willing to adopt. As extreme examples,
if I write a 50,000 line persistence package that many people asked for,
would it go into Python? If I write an extension module in Pascal, could
that go into Python? Obviously the 4XPath example is not that extreme so
I'm trying to get opinions.
