[Python-Dev] dismantle CVS repository on cvs.python.org?

Is it time to disable anonymous CVS access from cvs.python.org?  On one of
my machines I was still referring to it, but only noticed today because the
build still said "1.6...".  Best would be if there was some way to get it to 
spit out an error message that referred people to either the python.org web
site or the SourceForge repository web site.
