  I've been known to do such things at times, but it is fairly
unusual.  (It's usually not on the Python tree as well, so it's not a
problem for people not on that project.)
  Of course, everyone knows how cruel I can be.  ;-)
  Anyway, for those not on the patches list yet, let it be known that
the first patch submitted through that list was not handled by The
Guido!
