I had planned a few months ago to completely rework the stable set, but that hasn't actually happened yet. There was no disagreement with adding more bots to the stable set when I brought it up, though, so I'm just going to go through and flip a few of the stable unstables to stable. If anyone takes exception to the changes I make, or has suggestions for other changes, please speak up :). -- Zach From rosuav at gmail.com Mon Aug 1 13:01:59 2016 From: rosuav at gmail.com (Chris Angelico) Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2016 03:01:59 +1000 Subject: [Python-buildbots] adding "installed Python" buildbots to the stable list In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: On Tue, Aug 2, 2016 at 1:09 AM, Zachary Ware wrote: > On Sat, Jul 30, 2016 at 10:41 AM, Xavier de Gaye wrote: >> Maybe the problems in issue 23968 [1] could have been detected earlier >> if the Gentoo "installed Python" buildbots setup by Zachary had been >> on the stable list. > > I had planned a few months ago to completely rework the stable set, > but that hasn't actually happened yet. It's done, see if you can tell ;) Off the top of my head, both of my Gentoo-based bots (non-debug/installed and docs), your root builder, gps's PGO builder, bolen-tiger, koobs-freebsd-current, bolen-windows8, and all of the edelsohn linux bots. If I ever get my non-debug Windows bot running again (stably), I'll add it as well. Note that several of the stable builders are currently legitimately red. -- Zach From dje.gcc at gmail.com Mon Aug 1 13:20:06 2016 From: dje.gcc at gmail.com (David Edelsohn) Date: Mon, 1 Aug 2016 13:20:06 -0400 Subject: [Python-buildbots] adding "installed Python" buildbots to the stable list In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Great! I'm not sure which ones are new, but there are definitely several more than there used to be. The new tests for PEP 495's local time disambiguation flushed out some underlying issues in the timezone database: http://bugs.python.org/issue24773#msg271313 > I'm not sure which ones are new, but there are > definitely several more than there used to be. Definitely a nice mix of distros and architectures on the Linux side of things now.
