Jim Jewett
report at bugs.python.org
Sun May 31 00:41:12 CEST 2009
Jim Jewett <jimjjewett at users.sourceforge.net> added the comment:

unicode objects. (By Larry Hastings?) They were rejected because (a)
they were complicated, and (b) it was possible to provoke pathological
memory retention.
