What tcl/tk version are you using ?

Also, can you put a "print(_flatten((self._w, cmd)) +
self._options(cnf))" before the line 1190 in
/usr/local/lib/python3.0/tkinter/__init__.py and tell what it shows when
you call pydoc.gui ?
