Initial Comment:
I was viewing the documentation located at:

http://docs.python.org/lib/module-imageop.html

Which is section 19.2 (imageop -- Manipulate raw image data) of the Python Library Reference. Under the description for the crop() method the first line reads: "Return the selected part of image, which should **by** width by height in size..." (I added the asterisk's)

The word which I highlighted with the asterik's should be  "be", not "by".
