Initial Comment:
in Modules/_ctypes/ctypes.h:

typedef struct {
[..]
        ffi_type *atypes[0];
} ffi_info;

AFAIK, arrays must be of size > 0.
_Most_ compilers accepts this, but not all
(especially my HP-UX compiler).

Please change *atypes[0] to *atypes[1]!
